Stamp Fairtex Says She’ll Finish Anissa Meksen At ONE On Prime Video 6

They will fight on January 13.

Stamp Fairtex is confident.

The superstar is sure that she has what it takes to finish Anissa Meksen when they meet on January 13 at ONE on Prime Video 6. They will compete in a mixed-rules fight in the atomweight division on the undercard of Superbon vs. Allazov.

“I believe I have practiced more than her and have more experience on the ground because I have only been focusing on MMA during the past two years,” the top-ranked atomweight contender said.

“I definitely had more time to concentrate on MMA compared to [Meksen], who just started training in MMA after hearing the news about the super-fight.”

Stamp has a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and used her grappling skills to rack up submission wins over the last four years. She won the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix, earning the No. 1 spot, but fell short against champion Angela Lee last year.

She’s also competed in Muay Thai.

Meksen, meanwhile, specializes in striking. She’s dominated all three of her appearances with ONE, including two clear decision wins and a second-round knockout victory against Cristina Morales.

“I think I can finish her in the MMA round because I think I’m better than her in MMA. She said her striking skill is better than mine. I want to ask her back, ‘Did you forget that I used to be Muay Thai World Champion?’ That means I will never let her bully me without a fight,” Fairtex added.

“Her words seem to ruin my reputation as Muay Thai World Champion. I can’t tell you which round, but I will definitely finish her by way of knockout or submission.”
