Stipe Miocic Is Part Owner Of Popular Pizza Chain Restaurant
Former UFC heavyweight champion, full-time firefighter and now part owner of a pizza restaurant.
Stipe Miocic is now reportedly a strategic partner with Cleveland-based pizza chain, Romeo’s Pizza. He is now a part owner of the popular pizza chain’s one of 60 locations.
“Pizza makes the world go round. I’ve spent the last 20 years eating at Romeo’s, and to me, it’s the best pizza in Ohio … and the world,” he said via QSR magazine.
“A business endeavor relating to one of my favorite foods is the best opportunity I could ask for.”
Pizza is not just a food, it’s a way of life. @Romeospizza

In February, Miocic was sworn in as a full-time firefighter to the Westlake Fire Department. He had worked as a part-time firefighter while he was also competing in the UFC.
Miocic has not fought since losing to current heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou by KO/TKO in March 2021. He was on a three-fight winning streak – with the title that he won in May 2016 – before encountering the Cameroonian fighter.
Miocic has denied retirement talk, but doesn’t seem to have any upcoming fights planned. He was sidelined when Ciryl Gane and Derrick Lewis went at it for the interim heavyweight title — which he protested – and had been mentioned in a matchup against Jon Jones for his heavyweight debut, but that never panned out.
