Stipe Miocic Slams Dana White As Jon Jones Fight Stalls

Stipe Miocic openly challenged Dana White following the continual delay in the Jon Jones bout.

Miocic has been absent from the fighting scene since he suffered a devastating knockout, resulting in the loss of the UFC Heavyweight Championship to Francis Ngannou.

In contrast, Jon Jones secured the heavyweight championship with a victory over Ciryl Gane via submission.

With that being said, throughout 2022, the bout between Jones and Miocic was often speculated about but never materialized.

Daniel Cormier revealed that the main reason behind the fight’s postponement was widely believed to be the monetary requests of Miocic.

The anticipated heavyweight showdown was predicted to be the main event in the summer, but it is now projected to occur in the autumn.

But according to reports, Jones requested Dana White to inform him once the Miocic match was finalized, after which he withdrew from the public eye.

As such, Miocic raised doubts about Jones’ abrupt disappearance from the public view by sharing a tweet about Dana White discussing their match, which showed the UFC president stating the following: “He’s gone again.

“Jon Jones goes back underground and you know [he said] let me know when the Stipe fight is done and he is a fascinating talented artist to deal with. I haven’t heard a word out of him since,” White.
