Storley Not Worried About Missing Out On Grand Prix
Undefeated welterweight Logan Storley may have not been invited to the Bellator Welterweight Grand Prix, but he said he’s not really concerned with that.
The welterweight tournament features of Bellator’s best fighters at welterweight, but Storley didn’t get the invitation. Despite this, Storley understands he’s not the only to not get the invitation, but desired to be a part of it and he’s more focused on to do his best to further impress the fans and Bellator officials whenever he fights.
“I’m sure there’s a lot of guys that are looking for that spot,” Storley said. “I don’t really know, it doesn’t really matter to me. The biggest thing to me is just going out there and performing, putting on a show regardless of whether it’s for an alternate spot or not. I’m gonna go out there and perform at the highest level I’m capable of, so whether it’s a spot for an alternate, I don’t really know.”
Although missing out on the Bellator Grand Prix means not getting a chance to fight for the Bellator welterweight title, Storley said he’s also not worried as he believes he can get to the pound where he wants to be in his career by winning just his next few fights.
“I don’t really care either, I’m gonna get where I want to be in the next coming fights anyway, so I guess this is the first step along the line and I’ve gotta take care this one first,” Storley said.
