Strickland Chokes Out A Fan

UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland (31-7) proved once again that no setting is off limits when it comes to competition, submitting a fan on a Florida beach with a rear-naked choke.

The fan attempted a takedown but Strickland used a whizzer to gain top position. When the fan rolled to escape, he gave up his back — and Strickland wasted no time locking in the choke, forcing the tap. Sean recaptured the UFC middleweight title at UFC 328 in May, handing Khamzat Chimaev his first career loss by split decision. His next fight has yet to be announced, though Chimaev has been vocal about wanting an immediate rematch.
