UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland (31-7) says he may be facing a disorderly conduct charge after being escorted out of the UFC Fan Fest on Sunday ahead of UFC Freedom 250.
“I may have been charged with disorderly conduct. I don’t know what that is but it sounds cool. I just want to thank you fans. I can’t thank you guys enough. After being banned, you guys riding, supporting me, it means a lot to me,” Strickland
Strickland had previously claimed he was banned from the White House event entirely. Dana White disputed that, saying Strickland was simply left off the guest list due to capacity constraints rather than any formal ban.
Strickland showed up to the UFC Freedom 250 pre-fight press conference on June 12, where he was mobbed by fans, before making his way to the Fan Fest on Sunday — where security escorted him out. Disorderly conduct carries a potential penalty of up to 90 days in jail and a $500 fine.
