Superbon Training With Top Ranked UFC Middleweight Marvin Vettori
Superbon fights at ONE on Prime Video 6.
Marvin Vettori starts training with one of the best Muay Thai fighters.
Superbon Singha Mawynn, the first-ever featherweight kickboxing champion of ONE, is preparing for his championship bout at ONE on Prime Video 6, and he just welcomed Marvin Vettori into his training camp.
Suthat Muangmun, also known as Trainer Gae, is in charge of the Banchamek Gym in Bangkok, where the best kickboxer in the world is trained.
In order to win several renowned championships, like the PAT Thailand Championship and the WBC Intercontinental Championship, among others, Superbon has been honing his abilities for well over a decade.
It makes sense that Vettori sought out the ONE kickboxing champion and his group to bolster his repertoire of strikes.
The 32-year-old attacker is extraordinarily talented and almost grew up in the gym. But Superbon is certain that Trainer Gae has genuinely obtained the best performance from his student. To ONE Championship, he said:
“He has a true love for Muay Thai. He always strives to make his athletes successful in the profession. He always has positive energy. Also, he always invents unique ways of training to make me better and stronger.”
The winner continued, saying:
“In terms of experience or techniques, I have them all. But what I lacked was someone who pushes me and sets a new goal for me. Like, when I hit the pads for five rounds, he will ask me to do seven. Or if I just run for five kilometers, he will make me run for eight. And that’s what I want.”
The Thai fighter has defeated competitors like Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong, Giorgio Petrosyan and Marat Grigorian three times in a row since joining ONE in 2020.
His best moment was when he defeated Italian fighter Petrosyan in the second round with a flush right high kick.
