Suspects Arrested In Connection To Amir Khan’s Stolen Watch

Three men have been arrested after Amir Khan was robbed at gunpoint a couple of months ago.

Detectives are reportedly investigating the incident and have already made three arrests, according to a Scotland Yard spokesperson.

“Detectives investigating a gunpoint street robbery in Leyton have made three arrests.

“The three men – A, 25, B, 34 and C, 20 – were arrested on suspicion of robbery after warrants were executed by detectives this morning,” the spokesperson said.

“Man A has also been arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. Man C has been arrested for this offence and possession of ammunition.

“All three remain in custody.”

Khan tweeted about the incident back in April.

“Just had my watch taken off me at gun point in East London, Leyton. I crossed the road with Faryal, luckily she was few steps behind me. 2 men ran to me, he asked for my watch whist having a gun pointed in my face. The main thing is we’re both safe.”

The former world champion was walking with his wife, Faryal Makhdoom.

Afterwards, he posted an image of his $93,000 custom watch, which he was wearing the weekend before while he was ringside for Conor Benn vs Chris Van Heerden.

His wife posted footage of the incident.

Khan was last in headlines after he retired from his 27-year boxing career in May.
