Taylor And Catterall Clash During Heated Presser

Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall had a heated altercation during their kick-off presser for their rematch on April 27.

Taylor won their only fight via a split decision in their first bout in a highly controversial verdict. The boxing community felt Catterall had been robbed of the chance to become the Undisputed Junior Welterweight Champion. Taylor pulled out of their rematch with a foot injury as the Scot faced Teofimo Lopez. Taylor suffered a loss, losing his WBO Junior Welterweight Belt, as the Catterall bout was then agreed. As they finished their presser, both fighters lost their cool during the face-off. Catterall placed his hand on Taylor’s neck, and the Scot pushed the Brit as Eddie Hearn separated the pair.
