Teofimo Lopez (22-1, 13 KOs) vs. Shakur Stevenson (24-0, 11 KOs) has finally been confirmed for January 31 in New York.
Lopez, a Brooklyn, New York native who is coming off a unanimous decision win over Arnold Barboza Jr. in May 2025 in Times Square, will make his fourth defense of his WBO junior welterweight title after beating Josh Taylor for the belt back in June 2023. As for Shakur, he will be moving up from 135 to make his debut at 140 against Teofimo. Stevenson is coming off a successful WBC Lightweight title defense against William Zepeda in July 2025 via a unanimous decision. A win over Teo would make Stevenson a four-division world champ.
