Terence Crawford Cruises To Sixth-Round Knockout Of David Avanesyan

It was his 10th straight knockout.

Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford outclassed David Avanesyan in front of his hometown fans at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Bud entered the ring with the chants of “Crawford! Crawford!” echoing in the background. And he did not disappoint them at any moment.

The 35-year-old got to his work from the opening bell as he started the proceedings with a stinging left hook.

The left hook had rung the alarm bells for Avanesyan and it remained the most lethal weapon of the ‘Bud’ the whole night.

Avanesyan tried to cut the ring but Crawford was too savvy to let it happen. Crawford kept on transitioning from southpaw to orthodox position which kept his opponent in the ring honest throughout the fight.

Crawford was miles ahead on the scorecard after the fifth round. He had seen enough and landed a crushing left-hook-right hook combo which left Avanesyan knocked out cold on his back.

It was the 10th straight knockout win for the WBO world welterweight king. Crawford surely kept his word.

Crawford wasn’t done here as he left the crowd in a tantrum afterwards as he declared that he’s still interested in making the Errol Spence Jr. fight happen to decide undisputed welterweight glory.
