Terence Crawford Preps For David Avanesyan Bout This Weekend

He returns to his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska.

The WBO welterweight champ Terence Crawford will be back in action this Saturday against the WBO #6 ranked challenger, David Avanesyan.

Crawford will be fighting in front of his home crowd at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska. The Bud is sweating hard in the gym as he knows one wrong step against heavy hitter Avanesyan can land him in huge trouble.

Crawford was well poised to face Errol Spence jr. in an undisputed clash at 147 earlier this year. But the negotiations again fell apart and both superstars have now taken an independent route.

The blame game has already started from both camps with each of them attributing the other for the failed agreement.

Crawford will be returning to the ring in almost a year since he last made an appearance against Shawn Porter in Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas.

Crawford was at his absolute best as he stopped Porter in the 10th. That win is arguably the best win in his 14-year career.

The 35-year-old is grinding hard to put on another show for his fans and prove that he is still one of the best boxers in the world at the moment.
