Terence Crawford Retains Title With Unanimous Decision Win – November 29, 2014 (This Day In Boxing History)

Terence Crawford extended his winning streak to 25-0 – a record that has since continued to improve.

Crawford successfully defended his WBO lightweight title with a unanimous decision win over Raymundo Beltran in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska.

Crawford had kept the fight under control as Beltran was able to hold his ground. But for boxing fans, it was clear who the winner was.

This was Crawford’s last fight at lightweight. He would then vacate the title and move up to super lightweight.

Today, he is dubbed as one of the most dangerous boxers in the welterweight division.
