Terence Crawford Tells Errol Spence Jr It’s Bad ‘When You Lie To The People,’ Responds To Spence’s Deleted Tweet
Errol Spence Jr has responded to Terence Crawford’s callouts on social media.
But Spence has since deleted the tweet that was posted Tuesday. Still, Crawford caught wind of the response and took a jab back.
“What I miss somebody said what? Who said they did what?” he said.

“@ErrolSpenceJr you lying saying you called me? Don’t do that that’s a bad look when you lie to the people,” he added.

Crawford has continuously made callouts to Spence, the IBF and WBC welterweight champion.
Crawford, the WBO welterweight champion, has been calling for a unification fight for a while, but has been unable to schedule it since he was with Top Rank and Spence is with Premier Boxing Champions.
But after Crawford’s knockout victory over Shawn Porter in November, he left Top Rank – and his callouts have yet to stop. The champion said one of the reasons he left Top Rank was because they were unable to secure a fight with Spence.
Meanwhile, Spence (27-0, 21 KOs) has not fought in a year. He lost fought December 5, 2020 against Danny Garcia, winning by unanimous decision. Spence was set to face Manny Pacquiao in August, but pulled out due to an eye injury.
Neither have upcoming fights on the cards.
