Two of Tyson Fury’s nephews have secured major honors at the North West Regional Championships.
Both brothers—the sons of Tyson’s younger brother Shane Fury—walked away from the tournament as champions. The tournament showcased the depth of the “Fury family,” with both Shane Jr. and Johnboy proving their pedigree in the amateur circuit.
Shane Fury Jr. secured the North West regional championship for the second time, while Johnboy Fury (Shane’s younger son) picked up his own North West regional title. Despite the family’s success, “The Gypsy King”—who recently returned to boxing this month with a win over Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11—insists that the next generation are carving their own legacy.
“There’s a great saying that ‘every man must carry his own cross in life’. What I’ve done has got nothing to do with what my kids have done or will go on to do,” Tyson Fury said
