The Spence Vs. Crawford Gate Exceeds $21 Million
Terence Crawford’s fight with Errol Spence Jr. produced over $21,000,000 in ticket sales.
That is according to the Sports Business Journal. Reports indicated that a crowd of 19,900 attended the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, as Crawford stopped Spence in the ninth round.
In the process of doing so, Crawford became the first undisputed welterweight champion of the four-belt era and a two-weight world champion, having been undisputed at 140.

The gate was the second-highest of 2023, behind the Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia gate, which generated roughly $22.8 million in ticket sales and over $100,000,000 from the reported 1.2 million pay-per-view buys.
Although the pay-per-view numbers for Spence-Crawford have yet to be released, if they are anywhere near the Davis-Garcia numbers, then the event will no doubt have been a monumental success.
The victory makes Crawford a pound-for-pound great and a pay-per-view star, putting him in line for mega paydays moving forward.
