UFC Middlweight Champion Israel Adesanya bagged the biggest pay check at UFC 263 after he retained his title against Marvin Vettori. He won the rematch on a decision. Thanks to the Arizona Department of Gaming, the pays out every fighter that competed at the event have been made public. The salaries exclude PPV earnings and taxes. The total disclosed purses for PPV is $3,233,000.
Adesanya walked away with $500,000 whereas the Italian dream was the second-highest earner with a $350,000 check. Next is Nate Diaz who received $250,000 despite losing the welterweight bout against Leon Edwards. Edwards made $222,000 that includes the $111,000 upfront payment and another $110,000 in win bonus.
Brandon Moreno, who made history at UFC 263 by becoming the first Mexican flyweight champion, made $200,000, which is $10,000 less than his opponent and then-flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo ($210,000) made.
