Three heavyweight fights added to Fury vs Wilder III

As if the July 24 event was not big enough due to Fury vs Wilder III, three more heavyweight fights have been added to the undercard that will go down at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The biggest fight of the pay-per-view event will be the third showdown between WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury and former heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder. Their fight was booked after Wilder’s appeal for the fight was approved by a United Kingdom-based arbitrator.

The co-main event will be headlined by Efe “The One and Only” Ajagba and Frank “The Cuban Flash” Sánchez. Next up is the 12-round bout between Robert “The Nordic Nightmare” Helenius and Adam “Babyface” Kownacki.

The Finnish star won the last time he met his Polish counterpart inside the ring in 2020.
Jared Anderson and undefeated Russian star Vladimir Tereshkin will go head to head for the eight-round opener.

As for Ajagba, the boxer feels honored to be part of the co-main event. The 27-year-old Nigerian has not looked back since turning pro in 2017. In merely four years, he has risen to fame for his knockout abilities.

Speaking about sharing the event’s spotlight with the Gypsy Kings and the Bronze Bomber, the boxing prodigy said: “I have been patiently waiting for this opportunity to showcase my skills. My fans — and critics — can expect to see more jabs, head movement, footwork and power in both hands against Frank Sánchez. July 24 is going to be a special night for ‘The One and Only’ Efe Ajagba.”
