Tom Aspinall Tells UFC He’s Ready To Go

UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall (15-3, 1 NC) is ready to rematch Ciryl Gane (14-2, 1 NC), saying he has already told the UFC he is available.

Aspinall has not fought since his no-contest last October at UFC 321 against Gane, where the latter’s accidental double eye poke meant Tom could not continue after the first round. He subsequently underwent eye surgery after being diagnosed with Bilateral Brown’s Syndrome. Aspinall recently reacted to Conor McGregor’s knee injury at UFC 329, stating he is now waiting for the UFC to give him a date.

“Listen, we’ve let the UFC know that we’re ready to go, and we’re just waiting for dates. Literally, we told them we can do it in Paris. We told them they can do it wherever they want. So, we’re just waiting for them to let us know,” Aspinall
