Tommy Fury To Fight On Fury-Whyte Undercard
The undercard of Tyson Fury’s (31-0, 22 KOs) title defense against Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs) has been officially announced. Tommy, Tyson’s half-brother, is expected to fight.
The battle between Tyson and Whyte is scheduled for April 23, with the WBC title on the line.
The match will be telecasted on BT Sports. Tommy (7-0, 4 KOs) gone unbeaten so far in his career.
The British boxer is expected to continue his light heavyweight journey with a step-up battle against Poland’s Daniel Bocianski (10-1, 2 KOs).
“It is good for the business to see Tommy Fury sharing the spotlight with his big brother. That was never the case before as he missed out on some big fights because of illness issues,” promoter Frank Warren said.
“If Tommy continues to win and build on his winning momentum, it is only a moment of time before big opportunities come in his professional career.”
Alongside Tommy, another boxer that seems to be making gigantic strides is Anthony Cacace (19-1, 7 KOs). The Apache was recently successful in his first title defense against Lyon Woodstock in August 2021.
