Tony Ferguson Undergoes Elbow Surgery

On Thursday, UFC interim lightweight champion, Tony Ferguson underwent surgery on his elbow and he will be out of action for an indefinite period of time. This story was first reported by MMAFighting.

Ferguson (23-3)  won the interim title when he defeated Kevin Lee by third-round submission at UFC 216 in October. He awaits the man who holds the UFC lightweight title, Conor McGregor who took a break from MMA in 2017 to pursue a fight with boxing star Floyd Mayweather.
