HBO Max has announced that UFC Lightweight Champion Ilia Topuria’s “Los Topuria”—a three-part original docuseries—will premiere globally on June 14.
The release is timed to coincide with UFC Freedom 250 (UFC White House), where Topuria will headline against Justin Gaethje. HBO Max has also secured the exclusive broadcast rights for the White House event in various international territories, positioning the docuseries as the ultimate lead-in.
The series consists of three 50-minute episodes that follow Topuria from his featherweight title breakthrough against Alexander Volkanovski to his current status as lightweight champion. It features access to his home life, showing his reality as a father, son, and brother. Viewers will get a front-row seat to Topuria’s board meetings and business ventures.
“Two-time UFC world champion Ilia Topuria, his family, and his closest circle star in this new original production that invites the audience to follow the journey of the Georgian-Spanish fighter from the conquest of his first featherweight world championship belt to the present day,” HBO Max press release
