UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria (17-0) has fired back at Justin Gaethje (27-5) after the interim lightweight champion crossed what Topuria called a personal line, warning he will put Gaethje to sleep in front of his family on Sunday.
The two meet in the main event of UFC Freedom 250 on the White House lawn. Gaethje escalated the trash talk last week by mocking his recent divorce, saying he too would leave “El Matador.” Topuria responded in the first episode of UFC Freedom 250 Embedded, shooting a double birds at the camera before issuing a direct threat.
“Since he crossed the personal line, he’s not going to have my respect; he’s not going to have my team’s respect. All I’m going to need is 2 minutes in the octagon with you, and I’m going to put you to sleep in front of your whole family, your country, in front of everyone,” Topuria
