Tsarukyan Recalls Choking Out An Alligator ‘I Made Alligator Boots’

Arman Tsarukyan revealed he choked an alligator on a fishing trip.

Tsarukyan recalled the incident that took place in Everglades. The UFC fighter recounted the alligator coming near his boat. As it did so, Tsarukyan choked the alligator. There is no video footage of this. However, UFC fighters have shown their impressive grappling skills previously. Khabib Nurmagomedov is known for having wrestled bears during his youth. Tsarukyan showed off the alligator and posted the following picture on his Instagram.

“I choked him out. I caught him, pulled him out from [the river], choked him, and put it on my back…I got a license to kill the alligator. We put a fishing hook out on the river, and me and my friend had to pull him in with one [rod]…He was 50, 70 pounds. Caught him without meat or anything…other animals it’s sad, but alligators, it’s ok. They eat people. Rear-naked choke from back-mount. [I made] Boots [from it]. I’m going to wear them to my title fight. Alligator boots,” Tsarukyan stated

Tsarukyan has been linked with facing UFC Lightweight Champion Islam Makhachev. He lost the first clash in 2019. However, Tsarukyan was present when Makhachev beat Dustin Poirier at UFC 302 to retain his belt. Islam is targeting the welterweight belt, but he may face Tsarukyan first. Tsarukyan has four consecutive wins, as he backed himself to beat Islam.
