TUF 28 Finale Results

On a night where the two newest Ultimate Fighters will be determined, two top-5 ranked welterweights collide and jock for position and a future title shot at The TUF 28 Finale at The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In the main event, No. 3 ranked welterweight and former UFC lightweight champion Rafael Dos Anjos faces No. 5 Kamaru Usman.

After moving up to welterweight in mid-2017, dos Anjos racked up three straight wins over Tarec Saffiedine, Neil Magny and Robbie Lawler but came up short in an interim title fight with Colby Covington back in June at UFC 225. Meanwhile, Usman, the winner of season 21 of The Ultimate Fighter, has won 13 of his 14 pro bouts and is currently 8-0 in the UFC. Usman has scored wins over the likes of Leon Edwards, Sean Strickland, Sergio Moraes and (most recently) Demian Maia.

The heavyweight final of The Ultimate Fighter season 28 will see Juan Francisco Dieppa take on Justin Frazier. Dieppa, the only Team Whittaker finalist, got to the final by defeating Ben Sosoli and Maurice Greene, while Frazier scored wins over Anderson da Silva and Michel Batista.

The women’s featherweight TUF crown will be fought for between two Team Gastelum members, Pannie Kianzad — who defeated Katharina Lehner and Julija Stoliarenko to get to the final — and Macy Chiasson — who reached the finals with first-round knockouts of Larissa Pacheco and Leah Letson.
