‘TUF 31’ Episode 12 Results: Cody Gibson Stops Rico DiSciullo In The Season Finale

Michael Chandler’s team continued their dominance in the last episode of ‘The Ultimate Fighter 31’ series.

In this week’s episode, Cody Gibson beat Rico DiSciullo. As a result, team McGregor secured only one victory in the whole season when DiSciullo overcame Hunter Azure.

This time around, however, DiSciullo did not pull off a win. From the off, DiSciullo’s luck deserted him.

During an exchange, DiSciullo tripped as Gibson pounced to take his opponent on the back. Gibson thundered down ground strikes to dominate his opponent.

While DiSciullo did try to get himself out of harm’s way, Gibson maintained his position to unload with more punches and elbows.

Although DiSciullo broke free, it was to no avail. Gibson took his opponent to the ground and followed it up with an arm-triangle choke.

That was enough to end the bout, as the attention turned towards the finals. Coming up, in a bantamweight clash, Gibson will face off against Brad Katona, who had switched to team McGregor during the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, Austin Hubbard and Kurt Holobaugh face off in a lightweight final as the fighters have everything to play for in the live finale at UFC 292 on August 19th, 2023.
