Two Miss Weight Prior To UFC Newark

On Friday, all 24 fighters competing at UFC’s return to Newark, New Jersey took the scale for the official weigh-ins.

The main event fight between welterweight contenders Colby Covington and Robbie Lawler is official as both fighters made the welterweight limit, while two fighters slipped up on the scale as Cole Williams and Dong Hyun Ma missed weight.

The fights remain on the card, as Ma will owe 30% of his purse to opponent Scott Holtzman for being three pounds over 155 and Williams owes 20% of his purse toClaudio Silva.
