Tyson Fury has slammed Joe Rogan for the speculation linking the ‘Gypsy King’ to a cage fight with Jon Jones.
According to reports, Rogan stirred up the talk when he backed Jones to win in a hypothetical fight between the two, provided that there were no rules.
“You want to talk about who’s the baddest man on the planet? If Jon Jones and Tyson Fury are locked into a room, I’m pushing all of my chips on black. Tyson Fury is an amazing boxer – he doesn’t have a f***ing chance in hell of making it out of that room,” Rogan
In response, Fury made it clear that he was the biggest name in the heavyweight division, across all combat sports, by letting Rogan know that he would come out victorious.
“I heard Joe Rogan say something about me, and I’ve been off all the social medias and didn’t reply to that little p****, little f****** midget, bald-headed midget. I heard him say that Jon Jones could f*** me up if we were in the room together.
“I don’t think so. Not a man born from a mother could f*** me up, in a room, on our own. Whatever happens in that room, I’d be walking out. Not a f****** problem,” Fury
Since that exchange, Fury has backtracked from those comments by only entertaining the idea of a boxing match.
In response, Jones has been receptive to the idea, as he stated that he would not rule out such a proposition.
Regardless of whether anything does materialize, Fury has hit out at Rogan for his initial words.
“Why would I even dream of going in a cage and wrestling and all that? It’s not my thing. It was actually Joe Rogan, little s***bag, who [started this]. Just out of the blue, there was no talk of me or Jon even fighting.
“Jon’s a great guy, probably the GOAT of MMA. [Rogan] said, ‘Oh if Tyson Fury goes in a room with Jon Jones he’s going to get absolutely smashed to bits.’
“Like, if someone goes in the room with me and it’s no holds barred. You’re going to have to kill me to stop me,” Rogan
