Tyson Fury Brings On Jarrell Miller As Sparring Partner Ahead Of Dillian Whyte Bout
It doesn’t look like Jarrell Miller (23-0-1, 20 KOs) is in any kind of position to compete for a heavyweight title in the near future. However, he has plans to ensure that someone else defends his title.
The American professional boxer, whose promising career has been surrounded with question marks after his failed drug tests, is currently assisting Tyson Fury as a sparring partner. According to an Instagram post by More Media Hits, this decision is taken for Fury to defend his title against Britain’s Dillian Whyte.
In that Instagram post, Miller and Fury are seen posing together along with Joseph Parker and SugarHill Steward, Miller’s trainer. The photo was taken in Fury’s gym, located in Morecambe, a seaside town in northwest England.
Fury and Whyte are set to battle against each other on April 23 at Wembley Stadium. In one of the most anticipated fights of this year, Miller believes that he’s in good shape ahead of the fight.
“I had a very hard training session today, but I’m fine. I have been off for a limited period of time but the Big Baby is back,” Miller said on Instagram.
The Brooklyn native hasn’t entered the boxing ring since November 2018, when he extinguished Bogdan Dinu within four rounds.
