Tyson Fury Confirmed For Tune-Up Fight Ahead Of Expected Joshua Matchup

Tyson Fury is officially confirmed to square off with Mariusz Wach on July 24th in Thailand to serve as a tune-up fight ahead of a potential matchup with Anthony Joshua.

‘The Gypsy King’ was most recently in the ring back in April, when he defeated Arslanbek Makhmudov by unanimous decision in England. Meanwhile, Wach, now 46, has more recently been competing in exhibition matches, MMA, and even a viral bout in which he took on three opponents simultaneously and finished each.

Fury vs. Wach will take place inside the world-famous Max Muay Thai Stadium in Pattaya, Thailand. Fury will also be receiving the inaugural WBC Humanitarian title, with proceeds from the fight being donated to local charities.

Last December, Anthony Joshua had his first fight in over a year, and secured a knockout over Jake Paul in his comeback. Now, ‘AJ’ will face Kristian Prenga in Saudi Arabia on July 25th, one day after Fury’s match.

If both former heavyweight champions take home a win in July, then the long-awaited Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua showdown will be set for November.
