Tyson Fury has reportedly made an offer to fight Anthony Joshua in September at Wembley Stadium.
According to reports, the terms of the split would be 60/40 in favour of the ‘Gypsy King.’ And as part of that process, there would be a rematch clause that would be split evenly if Joshua were to come out victorious.
“I put an email over to Eddie Hearn, made a formal offer. Same terms as for [last] December. Exactly the same deal.
“We’re ready to go. Tyson wants it to happen, so do we, and I hope they do too…It’s exactly the same deal, exactly the same terms.
“We’ve got enough time hopefully this time to get it done if they want to do it. But they made it clear they’re exploring other opportunities for Joshua and we’ve gotta still explore other opportunities for Tyson.
“But the priority is to see if we can make it. If they want to make it, it’s there to be done,” George Warren
This is not the first time that the pair have been linked with each other. Prior to Fury fighting Dereck Chisora in December, the duo had talks for a fight on the same split.
And given that talks had broken down then, there is no guarantee that a fight will materialize this time around.
This is particularly since Joshua has set his sights on a fight with Deontay Wilder in December. Therefore, facing Fury could jeopardize those plans if he were to come out second best.

Haven't we been here before, getting bored with this now.

This feels like the biggest con of a proposal ever. AJ has already said he’s injured and can’t fight till December 🤷♂️
