New training footage shows Tyson Fury (34-2-1) in a lighthearted mood at his training base in Thailand, dancing and joking during drills with fellow heavyweight Joseph Parker.
While the footage captures Fury’s signature charisma, critics argue the lack of “urgency” is a dangerous sign as he prepares for the knockout artist Arslanbek Makhmudov (21-2, 19 KOs) in his return fight on April 11. Fury hasn’t fought since his back-to-back losses to Oleksandr Usyk in 2024. The relaxed atmosphere in camp is a direct result of Fury’s decision to train himself for this bout after parting ways with SugarHill Steward. While originally thought to be a training partner, reports suggest Parker is actually serving as a primary “advisor/trainer” for this camp. The two share a deep friendship, which explains the settled environment seen in the footage.
