UFC 210 Set for April 8th in Buffalo, New York
The UFC will be heading to New York for the fourth time since the state legalized the sport, as the promotion announced that UFC 210 will be held at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo on April 8th. The arena holds as many as 19,000 people and is home to the NHL team the Buffalo Sabres.
The promotion announced the event during the broadcast of UFC Fight Night: Phoenix on Sunday.
The UFC last traveled to Buffalo in September of 1995, with a card headlined by Ken Shamrock vs. Oleg Taktarov. The state’s ban of mixed-martial-arts would be banned two years later and last from 1997 until last year.
UFC 210 will be the fourth show held in NY since that ban was lifted. UFC 205, headlined by Conor McGregor vs. Eddie Alvarez, headlined the promotion’s debut at Madison Square Garden in November. In December, UFC Fight Night: Lewis vs. Abdurakhimov took place in Albany. Next month, Holly Holm and Germaine de Randamie will headline UFC 208 in Brooklyn.
No fights have been announced for UFC 210.
