UFC 214 Salaries Announced
The disclosed earnings for UFC 214 have been released, and Daniel Cormier is one of eleven fighters to make over six-figures in earnings for Saturday night’s event in Anaheim.
Per the California State Athletic Commission, Cormier was paid a flat $1,000,000 for his losing effort to Jon Jones, while Jones was paid $500,000 flat and no win-bonus on the road to winning back the UFC Light-Heavyweight Crown.
The nine other UFC 214 fighters who cleared the six-figure mark in earnings were: UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley ($500,000), Robbie Lawler ($300,000), UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg ($200,000), Donald Cerrone ($155,000), Jimi Manuwa($120,000), Demian Maia ($110,000), Volkan Oezdemir ($110,000), Ricardo Lamas($106,000), and Tonya Evinger ($100,000).
As mentioned previously, in addition to their commission-reported salaries, Jones, Oezdemir, Brian Ortega and Renato Moicano also took home $50,000 fight night bonuses for their performances.
