UFC 224: Pennington Looks To Upset Nunes

After an 18 month layoff, Raquel Pennington steps into the Octagon on May 12th, and faces the toughest challenge in her career.

Pennington squares off with UFC Women’s bantamweight champion, Amanda Nunes, who has been on the warpath since arriving to the UFC, and is on a six fight winning streak.

Nunes may attempt to end the fight early and have a quick and successful third defense of her title.

Also on the card is the final fight of one of the biggest names in MMA, as Vitor Belfort returns to Rio, as he faces Lyoto Machida.

Machida is looking to get his second win in a row, after a three fight losing streak which started against Luke Rockhold in 2015. For Belfort, this is a chance to close his career out with a win and also get his third win in six fights, after a run highlighted with wins over Nate Marquadt and Dan Henderson.
