UFC 226 Attendance, Gate, Bonuses
A sold-out crowd of 17,500 filled into the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, to give UFC 226 a gate of $5.7 million.
No fight of the night bonus was handed out, as four fighters — rather than the usual two — were given performance bonuses. The four fighters were Daniel Cormier, Khalil Rountree Jr., Anthony Pettis and Paulo Costa.
In the UFC 226 main event, Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier defeated Stipe Miocic via first-round knockout to win the UFC Heavyweight Title. This makes Cormier the fifth UFC fighter in history to win titles in two weight classes — joining the likes of Randy Couture, B.J. Penn, Conor McGregor and Georges St Pierre. He also joins McGregor as the only fighters to hold two UFC titles at the same time.

Anthony Pettis scored a submission victory early in the second round over Michael Chiesa, while Khalil Rountree Jr. got a first-round knockout over Gokhan Saki.
In the featured prelim bout, Paulo Costa defeated Uriah Hall with a second-round knockout.
