UFC 228 Prelims Lowest Numbers Of 2018

In a rare move to FX, the UFC 228 Prelims would end up posting the lowest number for the UFC in 2018, averaging 560,000 viewers on Saturday night.

The most watched segment of the card airing prior to the UFC 228 pay-per-view from Dallas,  was Tatiana Suarez’ win over Carla Esparza in the final match of the broadcast.

Its the lowest number since the prelims prior to UFC 215, held a year prior on September 9th, 2017, which delayed start time one hour due to being preempted by the Walker Cup golf tournament.

The second hour of the preliminary card would only draw 418,000 viewers for a card that featured the lowest buys in modern UFC history, 100,000 buys.
