UFC 236 Lineup, Location Officially Announced

UFC 236 has officially unveiled its initial lineup of fights with two interim title bouts taking place on the card.

In the main event is UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway moving up in weight to face off against Dustin Poirier for the interim lightweight belt. The current UFC lightweight champion is Khabib Nurmagomedov, but he is currently serving a suspension for his part in a brawl after his fight against Conor McGregor last year.

The co-main event will be a fight for the interim middleweight between Israel Adesanya and Kelvin Gastelum. The interim middleweight title was created as a result of current champion Robert Whittaker suffering a hernia, forcing his fight against Gastelum for UFC 234 to be canceled at the last second.

Also on the card are fights featuring the likes of Eryk Anders, Wilson Reis, Ovince Saint Preux, Nikita Krylov and more. The card will take place on April 13 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
