UFC 239 Live Results
On Saturday, July 6th, the UFC celebrates International Fight Week with UFC 239 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In the main event, Jon Jones will defend his light heavyweight title for the second time since winning it back at UFC 232, against Thiago Santos.
Santos, who fought at welterweight and middleweight before going on a tear in the 205 pound division, looks to hand Jones his first loss since a controversial DQ loss to Matt Hamil early in Jones’ career.
In the card’s co-main event, Amanda Nunes puts her bantamweight title on the line against Holly Holm, as the only women to ever knockout Ronda Rousey face-off for the first time.
The card also features welterweight’s Ben Askren and Jorge Masvidal squaring off with a potential shot at the welterweight title on the line. Masvidal is coming off a win over Darren Till and giving Leon Edwards a “three piece and a soda” at UFC London, while Askren looks to follow up his successful if not controversial UFC debut, submitting Robbie Lawler at UFC 235.
