UFC 251 To Take Place In Perth
For the first time since 2018, the UFC will be returning to Perth. The company announced that UFC 251, taking place on June 6, will take place inside the RAC Arena in Australia.
Already scheduled for the event is a Women’s Flyweight Championship bout between Valentina Shevchenko and Joanne Calderwood. It is unknown if that is the official main event of the card.

The last time the UFC was in Perth was at UFC 221, when Yoel Romero and Luke Rockhold fought for the UFC Middleweight Championship. Romero knocked out Rockhold in the third round, but was ineligible to win the title because he missed weight.
On that card was Alexander Volkanovski, the current UFC Featherweight Champion. He beat Jeremy Kennedy via TKO on the FS1 prelims. Volkanovski (21-1) is hoping to fight on that card. This may be the event that holds a championship rematch against Max Holloway, who he beat for the title at UFC 245.
