UFC 259 Medical Suspensions: Israel Adesanya Could Be Shelved Six Months

The UFC 259 medical suspensions have been released.

UFC 259 took place inside the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 6. In the main event, UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya challenged Jan Blachowicz for the UFC Light Heavyweight Title. Blachowicz earned the unanimous decision victory.

Blachowicz will be sidelined until April 6. As for Adesanya, he’ll need to get an x-ray of his left foot and ankle. If something is wrong, then he’ll need clearance from an Orthopedic doctor or he’ll be shelved until September 3.

Also facing lengthy medical suspensions are Megan Anderson and Aleksandar Rakic. Both need clearance from an Orthopedic doctor if their x-rays are positive.
