UFC 267: Everything You Need To Know About The Event

Abu Dhabi is set to host UFC 267 on October 30 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island. ABC will air the main card after prelims on ESPN networks.

There has been a lot of hype for the upcoming event with two title fights included in the main card.

UFC light heavyweight champ Jan Blachowicz (28-8 MMA, 11-5 UFC) will defend his title against MMA veteran Glover Teixeira (32-7 MMA, 15-5 UFC) in the main event. The co-feature will have Petr Yan (15-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) versus Cory Sandhagen (14-3 MMA, 7-2 UFC) for the interim bantamweight title.

Aljamain Sterling was scheduled to take on Yan, but the champion pulled out later. He said his body was still struggling to get back into rhythm after surgery.

Islam Makhachev (20-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC) will fight Dan Hooker (21-10 MMA, 11-6 UFC) after Rafael dos Santos withdrew a few weeks ago.

Hooker was quick to fill in for dos Santos when called up by the UFC. The Hangman has been staying in the US since he beat Nasrat Haqparast in Las Vegas in September.

The decision win raised his stocks, which were seemingly nose-diving after his first-round loss to Michael Chandler at UFC 257.
