UFC 267 Returns To Fight Island, Set To Air On ABC Network

UFC 267 will be held in Fight Island in Abu Dhabi on October 30. This is the second time this year president Dana White has decided to host the event at Yas Island.

“Abu Dhabi is incredible — I love that place and the people,” White said in a recent statement. “I have been talking about all of the things we are working on. I plan on getting all the deals buttoned up this summer. I can’t wait to go back and share everything we are working on together.”

The card will serve as a non-pay-per-view event in North America and air live on the ABC network.

UFC light-heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz will defend his title against MMA veteran Glover Teixeira in the main event.

In the co-main event, Petr Yan will look to settle the scores and get his belt back from bantamweight titleholder Aljamain Sterling. Yan was disqualified in the last fight against Sterling due to an illegal knee in the fourth round of their March bout.

Yan was stripped of the title.

He and Sterling have since been going back and forth on social media. MMA veterans have declared Yan the favorite to win the rematch.
