In the first round, Chaos dominated, using his wrestling and ground and pound.
In the second, Masvidal was protecting himself from most of the takedown attempts, but it was exhausting for him.
But Masvidal was able to land a great elbow and opened a cut on Covington’s left eye.
Masvidal landed a massive right hook in the fourth round and served a mini knockdown to Covington.
The fifth-round was just like the first. Masvidal was very tired and could not get up. Judges scored that fight 50-44, 50-45, 49-46 for Covington.
As soon as Covington got the opportunity to get the mic, he challenged lightweight contender Dustin Poirier, who is Jorge Masvidal’s teammate from American Top Team.
In the co-main event, two Brazilians held an amazing fight.
Rafael Dos Anjos earned a massive unanimous decision victory over Renato Moicano. Even though it was a dominant victory for the former champion, Moicano proved that he is a phenomenal fighter.
Bryce Mitchell earned another great victory and defeated one of the best strikers, Edson Barboza. It was a massive test for an undefeated fighter.
In the first round, Mitchell knocked down the Brazilian. He controlled him in all the rounds.
Kevin Holland made a successful debut in the welterweight division against very experienced Alex Oliveira. In the second round, he landed a massive right hand and served a TKO loss to Brazilian with massive ground strikers.

Sergey Spivak did a great job against Greg Hardy from the very beginning.
It was evident that Hardy had more chances on the standing, so Spivak landed a massive judo throw in the very first seconds. Within two minutes, he earned the victory with massive ground and pound from top position.
Marina Rodriguez and Xiaonan Yan fought for all 15 minutes. They left everything inside the octagon, and after the close fight, Rodriguez earned a split decision victory. She might be the next to make the title shot.
Umar Nurmagomedov remains undefeated after defeating Brian Kelleher in the first round via submission Rear-naked choke.
