Main Undercard 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT (PPV) Live Results:

Co-Main Event: Yair Rodriguez vs. Josh Emmett – Interim Featherweight Title

In this battle for the 145-pound interim belt, Rodriguez was keeping Emmett guessing by switching stances, and landing nasty kicks to the body to set up his punching. By the end of the round, Emmett was wearing visible damage on his body from the lightning fast kicks of Rodriguez.

As the fight continued, so did Rodriguez’s dynamic striking, mixing together damaging punches, body kicks, elbows and knees. Even when the Mexican competitor found himself on his back, he was he generating serious striking offense.

Funny enough, from his back is exactly how Rodriguez finished the fight. He used his strikes from the bottom to distract Emmett from what the real danger was while inside his guard.

At the perfect time, in a swift movement, Rodriguez threw his legs up into a top lock position on Emmett’s shoulder, and began to work for the triangle choke. As soon as the submission was cinched, he angled his body to the side to tighten things further, and Emmett tapped almost immediately.

Official Result: Yair Rodriguez def. Josh Emmett via Submission (Triangle Choke) – Round 2, 4:19

Randy Brown vs. Jack Della Maddalena – Welterweight

In the beginning of this 170-pound matchup, Brown did an excellent job utilizing his reach advantage to keep his opponent at bay with jabs.

Once Australia’s Della Maddalena was able to pressure Brown’s back to the cage, he wasted no time in seizing the opportunity. He clipped his opponent with a massive right hook, that dropped Brown to the canvas. Once on the ground, Della Maddalena went to work with hammer fists until Brown rolled to expose his back.

Once Brown rolled, he was in serious trouble. Della Maddalena took the back, hooked his legs, and began to tighten the rear naked strangle. Brown had no chance other than to submit at 2:13 of the first round.

Official Result: Jack Della Maddalena def. Randy Brown via Submission (Rear Naked Choke) – Round 1, 2:13

Justin Tafa vs. Parker Porter – Heavyweight

In the first and only 265-pound affair of the evening, things came to an end quickly.

Early in the fight, Porter moved forward to deliver an overhand right, but Tafa read the situation perfectly. He stepped his lead leg back to evade, and delivered a well-timed counter left cross. He followed this punch up with a right uppercut, which dropped Porter to the canvas and finished the fight in the very first round.

The Australian crowd was on their feet, as this was clearly what they wanted to see from their countryman.

Official Result: Justin Tafa def. Parker Porter via Knockout (Left Cross & Uppercut) – Round 1, 1:06

Jimmy Crute vs. Alonzo Menifield – Light Heavyweight

To get the PPV main card started, these 205-pounders went straight at it. Following some stiff and accurate striking from Menifield, Crute decided that where he would find success was on the ground. Crute secured multiple takedowns and controlled the majority of the first round.

Near the end of the round, Menifield was able to work back to his feet and drop Crute with some massive shots. It looked like the fight was close to being over, but the horn sounded to end the round before Menifield got a chance to finish things off.

It was clear that Crute had not recovered once the second round got started, as he got dropped again as soon as Menifield connected. Once back on their feet, the two went back and forth for the remainder of the round with hard strikes. At the end of the round, Crute secured one more takedown and took the back of Menifield, but was unable to finish the choke before the round came to a close.

Near the beginning of the final round, Menifield grabbed the fence in order to avoid another takedown, which resulted in a point deduction. Immediately after, Crute would execute the single to double leg takedown that he was aiming for in the first place, this time in the center of the octagon. With strong ground and pound, and dominant pressure, Crute was able to control his opponent for the remainder of the bout.

Despite the amount of wrestling control that Crute displayed, Menifield controlled things in the standup department, out-striking Crute by a dominant margin.

Official Result: Jimmy Crute vs. Alonzo Menifield ends in a Draw (Majority) – 29-27, 28-28, 28-28
