UFC 286 Pay-Per-View Will Land In London In March

The promotion was there last July.

The UFC is making another trip overseas.

The Las Vegas-based promotion will hold UFC 286 at the O2 Arena in London on March 18, they announced on Wednesday.

“Everyone knows how much I love our fans in the UK,” UFC president Dana White said.

“We had two incredible shows in London in 2022, and this time we’re bringing a world title fight with the biggest and baddest card we could put together at The O2 on March 18. The UK MMA scene is exploding with talent right now and I can’t wait to show you guys what we have in store for you next year.”

The promotion has already held two Fight Night events at The O2 Arena.

The first was UFC Fight Night 204, which featured an exhilarating matchup between Tom Aspinall and Alexander Volkov. Aspinall took home the win via first-round submission.

Lightweight Paddy Pimblett and flyweight Molly McCann also put on a show, which helped make the event become the highest-grossing fight night in the history of the UFC.

Since it went so well, the promotion returned for UFC Fight Night 208 at the same venue on July 23, but Aspinall suffered a knee injury just 15-seconds into the bout against Curtis Blaydes, resulting in a stoppage loss.

UFC 286 will mark the first pay-per-view event in England since UFC 204 in 2016 where Michael Bisping retained his middleweight title by a five-round decision against Dan Henderson.

No bouts have been confirmed for it yet.
