UFC 307 Confirmed For October 5
UFC 307 has been announced for October 5, subject to the main event being announced.
The card will take place from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. The UFC will head to the venue for the first time since UFC 291 in 2023 when Justin Gaethje knocked out Dustin Poirier to win the BMF title. It was the third time Poirier lost out on a title after losses to Khabib Nurmagomedov and Charles Oliveira.
In 2022, Delta Center also hosted the UFC Welterweight Title fight between Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman. Edwards stopped Usman in the last round when he was behind for most of the fight at UFC 278. Edwards would lose his belt when he faced Belal Muhammad at UFC 304.
However, some match-ups have been confirmed: Movsar Evloev takes on Aljamain Sterling, while Jose Aldo faces Mario Bautista. To top things off, Kayla Harrison will face Ketlen Vieira for her second UFC appearance since making her debut at UFC 300.
