UFC Fight Island 2 Weigh-In Results
Two fighters will look to settle the score with the ultimate prize on the line. On July 18 on “Fight Island”, the flyweights will look to make their mark once again.
The main event will be Deiveson Figueiredo v. Joseph Benavidez in a rematch for the UFC Flyweight Championship. Back in February in Virginia, Benavidez (28-6) and Figueiredo (18-1) were chosen as the flyweight contenders. Henry Cejudo relinquished the title to focus on his UFC Bantamweight Title. Figueiredo entered the fight 2.5 pounds over the flyweight limit and would win the fight via TKO, but would not win the title.
The weigh-ins before the fight will be at 9 a.m. ET. Will Figueiredo make weight this time?
