UFC Fight Night: Albany Weigh-Ins
With no ceremonial weigh-ins, all fighters competing on tomorrow night’s UFC card in Albany, New York, weighed in earlier today.
The main event will see a heavyweight showdown between Shamil Abdurakhimov and Derrick Lewis. The 17-3 Abdurakhimov has had three bouts in the UFC so far, going 2-1. After a loss via first-round TKO to Timothy Johnson in April 2015, Abdurakhimov scored a unanimous decision win over Anthony Hamilton back in February and a split decision win over Walt Harris back on Oct. 1.
Lewis, meanwhile, enters this bout on a four-fight win streak, with wins over Gabriel Gonzaga and Roy Nelson this year. The first-round knockout of Gonzaga earned Lewis a Performance of the Night bonus, while the win over Nelson came during one of three consecutive events the UFC held back in July to celebrate UFC 200.
The prelims get underway at 5:45 p.m. ET, with the man card starting at 9 p.m. ET. The event, which takes place from the Times Union Center in Albany, New York, will air on UFC Fight Pass.
