UFC Fight Night: Holloway Vs. Allen: Preview And Watch Info
Tonight in Kansas City, the T-Mobile Center will be home to UFC Fight Night, featuring an exciting 145-pound main event bout between former featherweight champion Max Holloway and #4 ranked Arnold Allen.
Suffering his only lost way back in 2014, and remaining undefeated thus far in his UFC tenure, Allen (19-1) will face his biggest challenge yet versus Holloway (23-7), who has maintained a rank near the top of the division despite losing his title back in 2019 to current featherweight king Alexander Volkanovski (25-2).
Making his UFC debut in 2012, Hawaii’s Max Holloway has time and time again proven himself to be one of the best to ever compete in the featherweight division, utilizing his high level fight IQ, evasive head movement, and supreme boxing ability. He holds notable wins over Anthony Pettis, Jose Aldo, Brian Ortega, Calvin Kattar, and the current interim 145-pound titleholder Yair Rodriguez. With a victory over Allen, there is no doubt that he will put himself back in a position to contend for UFC gold once again.

Throughout Allen’s 10-fight UFC career, the Englishman has displayed an extremely well-rounded MMA skill set, finishing opponents by submission and most recently defeating Dan Hooker by way of powerful dynamic strikes. Despite a successful career, impressive record, and well-earned rank, he knows that defeating noteworthy competitors such as Holloway is exactly what he needs to do to put his name on the map of the division as he looks toward a shot at the title.
